Dear Sir/Madam, I am a PhD researcher at the University of Bath, currently working on the development of structural lithium-ion batteries. I have an in-depth knowledge of how electrochemical systems work and their applications. I am part of a research group that specialises in propulsion systems and have worked in transdisciplinary teams to develop models for electrified modes of transport. During my first year as a PhD researcher, I built a research laboratory from scratch, which allowed me to learn about the requirements for testing lithium-ion batteries. I have worked on different projects in different countries during my research, such as Sweden and France, where I have had to communicate ideas and results efficiently and succinctly, as well as being a very fast learner.
